In partnership with the family and caregivers, it is essential for the service to create a comprehensive risk minimisation plan and communication strategy whenever an enrolled child has a specific healthcare need, allergy, or relevant medical condition. This proactive approach aims to reduce risks by ensuring that all staff and volunteers are well-informed about the medical conditions policy and are knowledgeable about the individual medical and dietary needs of each child.
