The information below with give you clear intent as to why we, at Woodlands publish facebook posts and what to include in each post.
Intention of a facebook post:
- To promote and inform families and the wider community how we embed our philosophy and values in action, as well as a way to share, celebrate our achievements and scaffold what we are doing across all Woodlands Campuses.
- It is an interactive and visual way to promote the inclusive work we do to the wider community.
- A way of bringing new families in.
- Facebook posts are to be done 1 per week.
What to include:
- A maximum of 10 images in the post
- You are able to add videos, a maximum of 3 videos to be added at a time.
- You are not able to add photos and videos in the same post or airtable form.
- Be mindful of the language and the way the posts are being written. Be purposeful, intentional, include professional language with using the framework in your language.
- Be mindful of the photos you are including:
- Look at what is in the background.
- Children should not be crying, or upset, or being sat on.
- No nappies or underwear visible in photos.
- Children need to be βsocial mediaβ approved.
- Be mindful of the way educators are role modelling in photos (misconduct)
- At the bottom of the post, you are to link the appropriate frameworks
- The woodlands monthly Campus newsletter.
